We are a group of students from la Ràpita, Tarragona. We all study the middle cycle of Administrative Management in the tourism field.
Last winter, our English teacher told us that the Erasmus project was starting in March 2023. He told us that we had to spend a month abroad to do part of the vocational training internship, in our case in Ireland.
Finally, we accepted the opportunity to be able to go to Galway with a total of eight first and second year students.
We are doing the internships at the company Galway Hooker Sailing Club with Ciaran Oliver. He and his family are from the Claddagh and still fish Galway Bay today.
Working for this company we had the opportunity to learn about the history of Galway, enjoy tourist spots and see the team in action repairing boats.
