LA RÀPITA
It is a town in Spain, located in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Belonging to the province of Tarragona in the region of Montsià.
The town of La Ràpita is the seaside town with the largest port in the Ebro Delta.
The town has a privileged natural environment, surrounded by rice fields to the north, beaches to the east and mountains to the west.

PORT
Port dels Alfacs natural port. This full bay, with an area of 142 km², has been declared a Natural Park. The port is well protected. It is very impressive to see the fishermen return from the sea, followed by innumerable seagulls, tons of unloaded fish and to see the shops and restaurants in the area buying the fish directly from the port! All the ones that come with the lowest prices that a buyer made. It also has a beautiful view of the city and the mountains behind the port.

Fishermen go out to sea to fish and return with fish. Fishing crews are made up of people with different tasks and responsibilities. Work may involve handling equipment, navigating, sizing fish, gutting and stowing in ice or containers.
